Fees and FAQs

How much does a counselling session cost and how long does it last

At PACE, the initial session of  50 minutes costs £50.00  Any subsequent sessions of 50 minutes cost £60.00

Sessions which incorporate hypnotherapy or lifespan integration therapy may run for longer than 50 minutes, and these sessions will be charged pro rata.

Sessions are available Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 8am–7pm.

I offer both open-ended counselling or short term counselling.  We can discuss what may be most helpful to you when we meet.

Counselling continues for as long as you feel it is helpful and necessary.

How soon can I be seen?
After you have made initial contact, I will respond within 24 hours.  Subject to a suitable time slot being available for you, I will offer you an appointment within 7 days.

What happens if I miss or cancel a session?
My standard practice is to charge the regular fee for sessions missed or cancelled where less than 48 hours notice has been given, unless an alternative slot can be arranged. Cancellations beyond 48 hours incur 50% of the fee.  This includes sessions missed due to a client’s holidays or illness.  This means that I can continue to keep your appointment space available for you throughout the period of your counselling.

No charge applies if, due to unforeseen circumstances, I need to cancel a session.

Where does the counselling take place?
I have a private counselling room in Knaphill, in a relaxed and comfortable environment. It is ideally situated for access from Woking, Guildford and surrounding areas. There is street parking available. There are also bus routes close by. The address is approximately 20 minutes walk from Brookwood Train Station.
